Creative Slow Shutter Speed Photography Contest with Manfrotto India

Darter photography is proud to announce a unique photography contest in association with Manfrotto India, where the theme or rather aim is to showcase your pictures captured at slow shutter speed.

 
What do we mean by slow shutter speed: For the purpose of this contest any shutter speed equal to or lower than 1/25th of a second will be considered as slow shutter speed.

What topic do I need to click: Well there is only one aspect you need to adhere to and it is slow shutter speed of 1/25^th of a second or less.

You can click anything that you fancy moving people, waterfalls, light trails, birds, animals etc. as long as the pictures are captured at a shutter speed of 1/25^th of a second or less.

NOTE: Special prizes for sharing on Social media for all followers of Darter and Manfrotto on twitter. This is over and above the contest prizes. There are multiple prizes and goodies to be won by participants and those who share and follow on twitter. 

The prizes

There are a total of ten prizes to be won – Seven prizes for best submission and three prizes for sharing the competition details on your twitter feed. The prizes are courtesy of Manfrotto India and Srishti Digilife Pvt. Ltd

Seven best submissions will win the following prizes 

• ML 120 pocket LED lights ( 4 numbers )
• Manfrotto Shoulder Bags (2 numbers)
• Pixi Mini Tripod (1 number)

Three prizes are awarded for sharing competition details on your twitter feed.

•  LED Lights (2 numbers)
• Shoulder Bag (1 numbers).

Terms and conditions of the contest

1. Picture should have been clicked by you between 1^st January 2013 to the date of submission of the picture.
2. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to participate in the contest
3. It should not have any watermarks or borders or other identifiable marks.
4. Picture need to be sent to email:  contest@darter.in with following information: a) Your Name, b) Caption of picture c) Exif Data – Shutter Speed, aperture, ISO, Camera and lens used. This information will be verified if your picture is shortlisted in final round.
5. The max size of the file accepted would be 1 mb and minimum px size of 1000 px on the long size.
6. You can submit upto 3 pictures for the contest.
7. The shortlisted pictures will be uploaded on the contest page by contest admin and the link will be shared with the participants.
8. You can share your picture on your social network once it is approved.
9. All those participating in the contest must follow Darter Photo and Manfrotto India on twitter
10. If your picture is selected in the final round you will need to provide a raw file of the picture and complete exif data as mentioned in point no 3.
11. By submitting the picture you confirm that you own copyright to the picture and take full responsibility of the same.
12. There will also be prizes for sharing the pictures and contest on social media with #darterphoto
13. What are the prizes: Various goodies from Manfrotto are to be won by the winning pictures.
14. The decision of Judges will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this matter.
15. The winning photographs may be used for any future promotion of Manfrotto India and / or Srishti Digilife Pvt. Ltd in any media and the winner should not have any objection towards the same.
16. Last date to submit your pictures is 30^th November 2014 midnight IST.
17. Prizes will be sent only within India.
18. By participating in contest you confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions of the contest and own the copyright to the picture submitted.
